In just a few short years VECF has grown to be a recognized leader in early childhood development throughout the Commonwealth. The Foundation’s Board of Director’s and staff continue to build partnerships among the educational, workforce development, social service, health, faith and business communities in order to maximize Virginia’s investments in school readiness. The VECF and our local partners have leveraged non-state investments more than 3 times greater than public funding to expand successful school readiness activities.
